 Mr. Chan Yong Jung has been serving as the Vice Chairman of the Bidding Committee for the EXPO 2012 YEOSU KOREA. After graduating from the department of Linguistics at Seoul National University, he taught at Geochang High School for 7 years and later he served at numerous organizations as Manager of Geochang YMCA, Secretary General of Gwangju YMCA and Permanent Director of the Civil Society Organization Council. In 2003 Mr. Jung was appointed as the Senior Secretary for Office of the President for 2 years and became the ambassador for NGO in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in the following year.
Currently he is the Chief Representative of Seonam Coast Forum, Executive Director of Water Council Korea as well as his essential involvement in the Bidding Committee for the EXPO 2012 YEOSU Korea
