Inamova Svetlana is at present Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairwoman of Uzbekistan¡¯s Women¡¯s Committee. She also chairs the Council of Trustees of ¡°Soglom Avlod Uchun¡± (For the Healthy Generation) International Nongovernmental Charity Fund.
She was born on February 11th, 1951, and graduated from Andijan State Medical Institute.
As part of her professional career, Inamova Svetlana has worked at Andijan Regional Children¡¯s Hospital as a doctor from 1974 to 1975. From 1975 to 1981, she was Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Children¡¯s Hospital #1 in Andijan. Following from this, Inamova Svetlana worked at Andijan State Medical Institute during the period of 1981-1998, and then during 1988-2002, she worked as Chief Doctor of the Children¡¯s Hospital #1 in Andijan.
Inamova Svetlana became Chairwoman of ¡°Soglom Avlod Uchun¡± International Nongovernmental Charity Fund in 2002.
In 2004 she became Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition, she was also entrusted with the position as Chairwoman of the Women¡¯s Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
