Xu YAN Vice President of Tsingtao Brewery Company, Chairman and General Manager of Tsingtao Brewery (South China) Company (China) Ms. Xu YAN joined Tsingtao Brewery Company Limited in 1999 and is currently Vice President of Tsingtao Brewery Company Limited and Chairman and General Manager of Tsingtao Brewery (South China) Company Limited in Shenzhen. Before she joined Tsingtao Brewery Company Limited, Ms. YAN had been VP Marketing in Guangzhou Zhujiang Brewery Group Co., Ltd since 1995. Under her leadership, Zhujiang Beer (Pearl River) had witnessed a double digit yearly sales growth and was ranked the top two based on the sales revenue in the industry. Ms. YAN was thus awarded with honor “the most dynamic and successful General Sales Manager”. Responsible for the Company’s marketing and sales, especially for the South China market covering 6 provinces and regions, Ms. YAN successfully helped the Company set up its production and sales network. Under her leadership, Tsingtao Beer in South China achieved more than 1 Million tons in terms of production capability . Thanks to her efforts, Tsingtao beer has thus become the leading brand in South China. Ms. YAN is also a strong advocate of Olympic sports marketing in Tsingtao Brewery Company Limited which has successfully sponsored a series of TV programs to promote Tsingtao beer as a firm supporter and participant to Beijing 2008 Olympic Games thus contributing to the enhancement of the Company’s brand image. In early 2007, with great achievements Ms.YAN was awarded with honor “2006 Top Ten Economic Woman”. Ever since the award was granted Ms. Yan is the only electee arising from beverage industry. Ms. Yan holds an EMBA degree from Graduate School of Management of Peking University.
